1. Acceptance
By creating an account or using the Ovend resident portal, estate admin portal, or mobile app, you agree to these terms. Ovend is operated by Origins Solutions Limited.
2. Who can use Ovend
Ovend is intended for use by residents and staff of estates that have set up an Ovend account, and for estate owners, facility managers and property companies evaluating or onboarding the platform.
3. Accounts and roles
Resident accounts are created by invitation from an estate admin. Estate admin accounts are responsible for their estate's houses, meters, rate configuration, and payment confirmations. You're responsible for keeping your login credentials secure.
4. Payments and tokens
Utility rates are set by each estate. A smart-meter token is only generated once a payment is confirmed — automatically for card payments, or by the estate admin for manual bank transfers. Ovend is not responsible for delays caused by an unconfirmed bank transfer or incorrect payment details.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to misuse the platform — including attempting to access another estate's data, interfering with the service, or submitting false payment or account information.
6. Service availability
We aim to keep Ovend available and accurate, but the platform depends on third-party payment and metering providers, and we can't guarantee uninterrupted service.
7. Changes
We may update these terms as the platform evolves. Material changes will be reflected by updating the date at the top of this page.
